Which of the Top 25 do I find most impactful? Confidence. It is a sexy thing…and yes, we all dig it. Here’s the deal, if you have confidence in who you are, the decisions you make, the life you have chosen, the friends that surround you, the attitude you choose to have, the perspective on life that you choose, the ability to love yourself, love others and love your life…then the 24 other reminders should simply fall into place. Notice my focus on YOU because YOU control YOU.
I might also throw in one more reminder: Smile, Be Approachable. It goes a million miles and always leaves a positive impression. Having a bad day, have to go to a meeting, put on your big girl panties and pull it together…with a beautiful smile on your face.
My first job out of school was at The Ritz-Carlton. We had a Credo Card that we carried with us, which had 20 Basics to follow. One of them was, answer the phone within three rings and with a SMILE. Not only can a smile be seen on your face, it can be heard through your voice. So, remember to SMILE and SMILE often, it truly makes a difference.
I would be remiss if I didn’t include a “shout out” to the Nude Stiletto! Every woman needs an amazing pair of nude stilettos…talk about a fabulous way to elongate your legs (I know this first hand because my legs can always use some elongating)!
